Theresa (Mehal) Gedrim, 90, of South Windsor, wife of the late George Gedrim, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Exeter, Pennsylvania, one of eleven children born to George and Anna (Soltis) Mehal, she grew up and lived in Pennsylvania before moving to South Windsor over 50 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Catherine Church in Broad Brook. She enjoyed shopping and watching game shows. She is survived by her longtime caregiver, Vincent Bifolck and his fiancée Aileen Cosgrove of Vernon; three nieces, Deborah Keller, Gloria Mizin, and Georgia Lee Simko; two nephews, James and Paul Morrow; Vincent’s four children who she considered her grandchildren, Jamie Bifolck and his wife Lisa, Stacey Bowman and her husband Kevin, Virginia Bifolck and her companion Cory LaFountaine, and Victoria Bifolck and her companion Doug Rogers, and their children who she considered her great grandchildren, Dani, Alex, Allie, Gabi, Adam, Brooklynn, and Vinny, and her special friends, Jeff and Linda Bifolck. Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 6 Windsorville Road, Broad Brook.
