Sylvia was born on May 4, 1919 and passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Sylvia was a resident of New Britain, Connecticut at the time of passing.

A graduate of New Britain High School, she worked in Human Resources at the former Fafnir Bearing Company and later was a Secretary at New Britain High School for over 20 years, retiring in 1989.

Funeral Services are 10 AM Monday at St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 54 Winter Street, New Britain, CT 06051. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 9 to 10 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church or to Bundles for Ukraine c/o the church.
