Susan (Sue) Garland Joslin, 60, of South Windsor, passed away at Hartford Hospital on Friday, April 06, 2018. Daughter of the late Russell L. Garland and Michele (Paul) Backus, she was a lifelong resident of South Windsor and graduated from South Windsor High School, Class of 1976. When Sue wasn't bringing smiles and laughter to her many friends and loved ones with her funny and lovingly sarcastic attitude, she enjoyed reading, Sunday Crossword puzzles and watching Murder Mysteries, always with her loyal companions and "Grand-dogs", Moka and Scooby. She is survived by the love of her life and former husband, Mark Joslin of Glastonbury and their daughter, Lianne Joslin of East Hartford; her sister, Lori Trahan and her husband Joe of South Windsor; her grandson, Connor Joslin of East Windsor; a niece, Jaimie Wargo and her husband Gary of Moodus; and special friends, Steve, Maureen and "BFF" Jeff. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Joslin. Susan’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11, 5-7 p.m., at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A private burial will take place at Center Cemetery.
