Robert was born on March 29, 1930 and passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018.

Robert was a resident of Plainville, Connecticut at the time of passing.

He grew up in New Britain, attended local public schools and graduated from New Britain High School.

Robert was an active member of the National Guard and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad St., Plainville. Burial with full military honors will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Donations may be made to: American Heart Association PO Box 417005, Boston MA 02241-7005 Visitation at the Bailey Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on May 17, 2018.
