Philip was born on August 17, 1920 and passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

Philip was a resident of West Hartford, Connecticut at the time of passing.

He graduated from Weaver High School and from the University of Connecticut's School of Pharmacy.

After graduating, he enlisted in the U. S. Army and served as a medic in the 4th Armored Division under General Patton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11 AM at Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Ave., West Hartford, CT, with interment following at Beth El Temple Cemetery in Avon, CT.

Donations in Philip's memory can be made to Hartford Jewish Federation, Beth El Temple and the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaica Studies at the University of Hartford.
