Nicole Victoria Patterson, 31, of Hartford, beloved daughter of Georgia M.V. Lindo, and sister of Dwayne S. Patterson, passed away peacefully at home with her loving mother by her side on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Born on March 30, 1986, Nicole was raised in Hartford and later moved to Enfield where she graduated from Enfield High School, Class of 2004. After high school, Nicole attended Quinnipiac University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2008 with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. She had recently completed her Master’s Degree in Justice Studies at Southern New Hampshire University. Nicole’s health challenges never held her back and she most recently had been preparing to apply to law school in the Fall. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Hartford. She leaves her mother, Georgia M.V. Lindo of Hartford; a brother, Dwayne S. Patterson and his wife Shaneia of Hartford; her aunt with whom she made her home for several years and her uncle whom she affectionately referred to as “Dad”, AlvaJoy L. Cain and John Cain of Enfield; two nieces, Trinity G. Wylie-Patterson and Isabella H. Patterson of Hartford; a nephew, Wylie A. Patterson of Hartford; three aunts, Fay Taylor and her husband Charles of Windsor, Shirley Fagon of Bloomfield, and LaVerne Lindo of Enfield; two uncles, Harold Lindo and his wife Geraldine of Gulf Breeze, FL and Hugh Lindo and his wife Denise of Enfield; and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her father, Clement A. Patterson. Her family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 6-8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, February 17, 9-10 a.m., followed by a Homegoing Service at 10 a.m., at The Lodge Community Chapel, 130 Deerfield Rd., Windsor. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to a Go Fund Me account that was created in her memory, www.gofundme.com/nicolepattersonhomegoing.
