My sincere condolences to Dave's wife Pat and his family. I worked with Dave and will always be grateful for all that he taught me. Besides his wealth of knowledge, his sense of humor was infectious in the office. I am blessed to have known him. Rest in peace Dave. Your family will be kept in my prayers for God to help them through this sorrowful time.

I'm very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. In times like these it's good for us to reflect on all of the good times and to rely on our heavenly father because we cannot go it alone. Please never underestimate the power of prayer and the power of love!

I never really got to know Dave until we were both retired. We would go to breakfast together once a week or so. That he lived as long as he did was in Itself quite an accomplishment. He almost didn't. I have a 1940 LaSalle convertible. One day we went somewhere in it, but it wouldn't start when we went to leave. Fortunately, there was a hill, so I was able to push it to a point where it would roll fast enough to jump start it. He wanted to help, but he was in no physical condition at that point to push a two-ton automobile. I told him to stay put. At the bottom of the hill was a sharp left turn. I didn't know he had unlatched his seatbelt and opened his door when he offered to help push. The car went left; Dave went right, and he would have landed on Newfield Street if I hadn't been able to grab his arm and pull him back in.

I loved his stories, and he sure had an inexhaustible supply. I am sorry to see he passed on, but I'm glad I knew him. He was the kindest and most generous man I've met in a long time.

To Pat and his children, his grandchildren and his great grandchild, please accept our condolences. He loved you.
