Memories & Candles
I met Mark during the summer of 1994.
I started my first job in NYC at Smith Barney on 6th avenue in midtown. Mark had a great sense of humor and a great role model for someone just starting out in workforce. Years later I always remember talking about cars with him and his cherished 1998 air cooled Porsche 911. So saddened by his passing my condolences.

Dear Barbara and family,
I was so sad to read of Mark’s death. We have lost touch over the years but I have so many happy memories of the von Kreuter family- all those Christmas days coming to visit us- so long ago in Stamford.
I think of all of you ,in my yearly stops, to decorate my grandparents’ graves in Darien. My dad treasured his friendship with Alan and the rest of your family. I loved to hear them

My deepest condolences to Mark's family and friends. Truly a great loss, and much too early. I have known Mark since we were 6 and attended St Thomas More/St John School together and then all the way through DHS class of 1980. We all had a special bond even when we did not stay in touch regularly. When Mark and I did connect in recent years, it was because my son, Alex, became good friends with his niece, Samantha. I

My favorite memory of Mark was during high school when a bunch of us went to some scary movie or other and when we were walking down the street after the show someone jumped out at us from behind, trying to give us a fright. We both screamed and he picked me up and ran with me to the car. We both couldn't stop laughing. He was never one to leave a friend behind...he will be so missed. My heartfelt condolences to his whole family. He will live on in many hearts.

This is such sad and terrible news, and I am so sorry for your loss. I will forever remember Mark with a huge smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. My thoughts are with all of you.
